Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and provide psychotherapy, including short-term interventions, to individuals, couples, and families with mental health challenges.

• Utilize various case management techniques, evaluation methods, and evidence-based treatment modalities to develop tailored treatment plans for clients.

• Offer a broad spectrum of services such as crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, stress management, and couples or family therapy, ensuring a holistic approach to mental wellness.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including consulting with licensed psychologists, nurse practitioners, or physicians, to ensure optimal patient care and support.

• Maintain organized and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, preparing necessary reports and corresponding with relevant parties for coordinated care.

• Engage in clinical team meetings, quality management activities, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Spectra, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals and families dealing with various mental health disorders, substance use issues, and dual diagnoses. Your role is vital in helping clients navigate their challenges, enhancing their coping skills, and leading them toward recovery and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid LMFT license or Psy.D in the state of New York, with a Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing psychotherapy services, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records for efficient patient management and compliance with healthcare regulations.

While the minimum requirement is set at two years, candidates with additional experience in areas such as crisis intervention, dual diagnosis treatment, and working within a community mental health system are highly desirable. Proficiency in evidence-based therapy modalities is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 125,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
