Family Office - Staff Accountant

Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant to join a private single-family office.

This hands-on role will support financial operations, cash management, investment reporting, real estate holdings, and general AP/AR

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and Excel skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage diverse responsibilities in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, wire transfers, cash flow monitoring, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain financial records, budgets, and reporting using QuickBooks and Excel.
• Track investment portfolios, capital calls, distributions, and overall financial positions.
• Support real estate operations, including expenses, vendor payments, and property documentation.
• Maintain records for trusts, LLCs, and other entities, coordinating with external advisors.
• Oversee administrative functions and identify opportunities to streamline processes through technology and AI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in family office operations, accounting, finance, or private wealth management.
• Strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and QuickBooks proficiency.
• Experience with banking platforms, cash management, and wire transfers.
• Ability to leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Highly organized, discreet, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• Exposure to private investments, real estate, or estate planning structures preferred.
