Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position at an academic medical center, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience and a valid KY or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Acute, non-telemetry Medical/Surgical unit in an academic medical center,
• Patient ratio of 1:5,
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM,
• 13-week travel contract,

Job Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration,
• BLS required; ACLS preferred,
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required,
• Academic medical center experience preferred,
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration,
• Clean licensure history required - any licensure hits will result in disqualification,

Additional Information

• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position,
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler,
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission - RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
