Travel RN - Neuro ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position at a Level I trauma facility, requiring at least 2 years of Neuro ICU experience and a valid KY or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Neuro ICU unit within a Level I trauma hospital setting,
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM,
• Experience with ICP and lumbar drains is a core component of this role,
• Epic EMR experience is preferred,
• Floating to other units is required,
• Weekend and holiday coverage is required,

Job Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration,
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required,
• EKG competency required,
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience preferred, ideally in a Level I trauma facility,
• Experience with ICP monitoring and lumbar drains required,
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Travel nursing experience is preferred but not required - first-time travelers will be considered,
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler,
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved,
• Candidates with any licensure hits or disciplinary marks on their RN license will not be accepted by this facility
