Staff Accountant

We’re hiring a Staff Accountant – Property Accounting in Dallas, TX. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll support month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger management while helping improve processes and leverage technology and AI for greater efficiency. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP Assist with month-end and year-end close, including: Journal entries, Bank and account reconciliations, Prepaid amortization, Variance analysis Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness Manage fixed asset schedules and record monthly depreciation and amortization Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and support operations Contribute to special projects and identify opportunities to automate recurring tasks Support process improvements and the adoption of accounting technology and AI-driven workflows Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Strong Excel skills and ability to work with detailed financial data Experience or eagerness to deploy AI agents and workflow automation to handle repetitive manual accounting tasks Analytical mindset with ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies Interest in process improvement, automation, and accounting technology #J-18808-Ljbffr Avid Storage LLC
