About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to play a pivotal role in translating its mission and strategic plan into cohesive organizational priorities and program strategies. The CSO will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to provide enterprise leadership in strategic planning, program integration, impact measurement, and resource development. This senior executive will be responsible for ensuring that the company's programs operate as an integrated portfolio, with a strong focus on the needs of rural communities. Key duties include serving as a strategic advisor, evaluating emerging opportunities, and leading diversified resource development efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships and long-term financial sustainability. Candidates for the CSO position at the company must have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a significant amount of management or leadership experience in rural infrastructure programs, community development, or federal/state program implementation. The role requires a deep understanding of rural community and economic development, as well as a proven track record in securing diverse funding, managing grants, and building strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have executive leadership and collaboration skills, strategic and organizational expertise, and the ability to drive organizational strategy and program effectiveness. The CSO will also be responsible for maintaining compliance, overseeing policies, and supporting the CEO in strategic initiatives. Regular travel is a requirement for this position.
