You will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors. Through visible presence, clear communication, and routine patrols, you will help deter incidents while contributing to an agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
