Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake several critical tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough mental health evaluations and crisis assessments to identify the needs of patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and follow-up care tailored to individual circumstances and recovery goals.

• Coordinating with various agencies and the Department of Correction to ensure proper housing and treatment disposition for patients.

• Leading group therapy sessions focusing on specific mental health challenges and fostering a supportive atmosphere for participants.

• Completing and maintaining required documentation, including statistical reports, treatment plans, and session notes.
\n
• Engaging in case conferences, contributing to treatment planning for new and ongoing cases.

• Participating in weekly clinical supervision meetings to enhance professional skills and share effective practices.

• Supervising social work interns or volunteers when assigned, facilitating their professional development in the mental health field.

• Contributing to departmental initiatives and other duties as assigned by unit leadership.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• A valid and active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 , commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
