Accounting Coordinator

LHH is partnering with a growing Columbus-area organization to identify an Accounting Coordinator for an immediate contract opening. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining organized records, and supporting a variety of accounting and office functions. You'll gain hands-on experience across accounting, payroll, reporting, reconciliations, and administrative support while working closely with company leadership.

Whether you're early in your accounting career or looking to build on existing experience, this position offers valuable exposure to multiple aspects of business operations. This position will sit onsite and work on the north side of Columbus, OH.

What You'll Do

• Compile and maintain weekly production and financial reports for multiple business divisions
  
• Prepare bank deposits and assist with monthly bank and loan reconciliations
  
• Enter payroll information into spreadsheets and accounting systems with a high degree of accuracy
  
• Support annual budgeting activities by gathering and organizing financial data
  
• Maintain accounting records and assist with financial reporting projects
  
• Provide general office support, including answering phones and assisting with administrative tasks as needed
  

What We're Looking For

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups and data analysis functions
  
• Previous experience to accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or administrative support preferred
  
• Ability to work accurately with financial information and large data sets
  
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to assist across multiple departments
  
• Experience with QuickBooks is helpful, but training can be provided

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
