Facilities Operations Specialist

DutiesAdministers the facility management program by developing, implementing, and annually updating the service unit's Facilities Program Plan to ensure operational continuity and compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.Responds to service requests, conducting inspections, implementing corrective actions, maintaining grounds, and ensuring compliance with safety and access regulations to support uninterrupted patient care and daily operations.Performs the full range of trades and labor work for the operation, maintenance, and repair of public facilities, buildings, and grounds, including maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, building automation and control systems, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems to ensure continuous safe operations.Serves as the Property Custodial Officer by maintaining accountability records for all government property held or acquired within the custodial area; coordinates with the Information Technology program for IT devices and equipment; and collaborates with the Area Property Management Officer on all property matters requiring Area-level coordination.
