POSITION SUMMARY

The System Specialist WMS Superuser is responsible for the efficient transmission of information and the storage and analysis of information by means of computer networks and systems, the Internet, and computer databases. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and supporting the facilities computer systems, providing general maintenance and system updates on network hardware and software, analyzing problems, and monitoring networks to ensure availability to users. The role may require on‑call support outside normal business hours to resolve system failures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Acts as the primary support for the client’s systems solutions for the user community. Develops and maintains tracking tools for support service requests and resolutions by location and resource. Engages appropriate expert resources when complex support issues arise outside of the WMS‑Red Prairie and/or SAP application. Works with the company’s team to close support service request issues and support testing activities. Works with project teams to help implement, maintain, and improve internal systems. Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly. Effectively communicates relevant IT‑related information to site management and client management. Maintains system efficiency, ensuring that all components work properly together. Tests and coordinates modifications to the system when needed, troubleshooting problems as they occur. Maintains communication with corporate IT and operations staff. Collaborates with corporate IT to resolve complex issues. Determines ways to store, organize, analyze, use, and present data. Produces regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Ensures RF Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are current. Trains associates on updated SOPs, Microsoft Office, WMS programs, and RF guns. Responds to all inquiries about WMS‑Red Prairie and related computer issues. Refers questions to appropriate persons when needed. Considers professional verbal and written communication with all internal and external customers. Adheres to professional etiquette when communicating with management, coworkers, customers, and visitors. Assists with various research projects and special projects. Accountable for overseeing manpower, recruiting, retention, and development of people within scope of responsibility. Ensures procedures exist at all sites to guarantee client service, productivity, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Sets goals to provide continuous improvement for the assigned site. SKILLS & ABILITIES

Computer Skills Mid to Senior Microsoft Office skills. Technical knowledge of technologies applicable to the assigned application or set of applications. Experience in the administration and maintenance of infrastructure, software, and systems. Experience with Red Prairie, RF/RDTs, UNIX, proprietary WMS. Wi‑Fi and RF systems and equipment experience. Language Skills Interpersonal communication and language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Facilitation skills and mature communication across all levels of the organization. Basic to intermediate communication skills. Business and financial acumen (analyzing financial information, problem solving, judgment). Analytical skills (data management, mining, procedure adherence). Education & Experience Four‑year degree in a computer‑related field or two‑year degree plus relevant experience (basic requirement). Minimum of 2 years of job‑related experience. 3–5 years of experience preferred. Experience dealing with end users, vendors, and clients. End‑to‑end understanding of business intelligence and components required to run a BI environment. Certificates & Licenses N/A Mathematical Skills Good mathematical skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Walking and standing for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull. Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel. Lift up to 30 pounds. Travel by plane or automobile. Perform duties for several hours per day to support the required business.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Warehouse environment with normal temperature variations. May require on‑call support outside normal business hours. Noise level usually low to moderate; exposure to fumes or chemicals generally low. BASE COMPENSATION

The expected base pay range is $67,360.00 – $101,040.00 per year.
