HR COORDINATOR Parrish Tire Company is seeking an organized, dependable, and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to begin or grow a career in Human Resources while gaining hands‑on experience in recruiting, talent management, employee records, HR systems, and general HR administration. No prior Human Resources experience is required. One year of recruiting and talent‑management experience is preferred. Position Summary The HR Coordinator will support recruiting and talent‑acquisition activities and provide administrative support to the Human Resources department. This position will frequently interact with applicants, employees, managers, temporary‑staffing agencies, and other business partners. The successful candidate must provide excellent customer service, maintain confidentiality, stay organized, and communicate professionally. Primary Responsibilities Post open positions and assist with sourcing qualified candidates. Review applications and conduct initial candidate prescreens. Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Maintain accurate applicant records in the applicant tracking system. Partner with hiring managers and HR team members regarding staffing needs and recruiting progress. Assist with candidate pipelines, recruiting metrics, and other talent‑management initiatives. Represent Parrish Tire Company at job fairs and recruiting events. Collect, review, and submit temporary‑employee timecards. Maintain confidential personnel and HR files. Scan, organize, file, and retrieve employee documents. Answer the HR telephone line, assist with routine questions, take messages, and route calls appropriately. Prepare and distribute employee birthday lists. Coordinate ADP birthday and service‑anniversary notifications. Prepare and route pay‑change and headcount‑request documentation for approval. Assist with company events, employee celebrations, and parties. Support special HR projects and departmental initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned or needed to meet changing departmental and business needs. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. No previous Human Resources experience is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional and courteous telephone presence. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, and electronic document management. Willingness and ability to learn HR systems, policies, procedures, and employment‑related requirements. Preferred Qualifications One year of experience in recruiting and talent management. Experience with an applicant tracking system, HR information system, or ADP. Experience working in a multi‑location, automotive, service, distribution, or similar business environment.
