Our client is an exciting and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm in the Financial District. With 20 attorneys, they are able to handle a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, Labor Law, workers' compensation, product liability, and more. As a family-run legal practice, their lawyers are committed to guiding accident victims and their families through the complex litigation process to obtain full compensation after a serious or fatal accident. They are trial attorneys.

Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Personal Injury Attorney with a passion for justice and a heart for the injured. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' lives and to be a part of a team that is committed to providing the highest level of legal representation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, with a strong emphasis on motor vehicle accidents and premise liability cases. This role requires a deep understanding of the legal process, from initial client consultation through trial, and a proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Managing all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through trial.
- Conducting client meetings and case reviews to determine the legal strategy.
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conducting and defending depositions.
- Preparing for and representing clients at trial.
- Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel.
- Maintaining clear and regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and answering any questions they may have.
- Staying up to date with changes in personal injury law and continuing legal education requirements.
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York and New Jersey state bars.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, with a particular emphasis on motor vehicle accidents and premise liability cases.
- Proven trial experience and a strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a high caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Passion for helping clients and advocating for their rights.
