Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to support clients in developing coping strategies and enhancing their mental health.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards, ensuring that patient records are current and compliant.

• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver integrated care that addresses the holistic needs of your clients.

• Engage in regular case consultations and contribute proactively to peer review meetings aimed at elevating the standard of care within our practice.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment paths, and available community resources, fostering informed decision-making.

• Remain updated on the latest developments in mental health research and best practices, incorporating new knowledge into your therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our patients may deal with anxiety, depression, trauma, and a variety of other mental health conditions. Your role will be crucial in helping them navigate their challenges and enhance their emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within New York State.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the formation of strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated ability to engage in solution-focused psychotherapy, tailoring interventions to meet individual client needs.
