Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, children, and families, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs.

• Diagnose and treat psychological disorders, ensuring interventions comply with legal and ethical standards as outlined by California's Board of Behavioral Sciences.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans that address unique client challenges and strengths.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sessions, adhering strictly to professional norms and standards, with a turnaround of no longer than 72 hours.

• Collaborate with support staff to ensure a full caseload and efficiently manage scheduling to optimize client engagement.
\n
• Act as a mandated reporter, addressing any issues in accordance with state laws and safeguarding the welfare of clients.
\n
• Facilitate regular feedback and communication with clients to assess progress and adapt therapeutic approaches as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be providing individualized care to a diverse clientele that includes individuals of varying ages, couples facing relationship challenges, and families navigating complex dynamics. You will work closely with clients from different socio-economic backgrounds, helping them overcome barriers to mental health and wellness, whether that involves tackling anxiety, depression, trauma, or family conflicts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical or community health setting.

• Strong understanding of privacy, health, and safety laws relevant to client care.

• Excellent organizational skills necessary for maintaining comprehensive and navigable patient files.

• Coaching skills to effectively guide clients through implementing positive behavior changes.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
