Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) | Full-Time | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting with a current census of approximately 35 patients
• Manage a patient population including individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury, and neurological conditions (adults 18+)
• Perform and assist with wound care, tracheostomy care, and management of isolation patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering intensive, individualized rehabilitation-focused nursing care
• Document patient care accurately using the CERNER electronic health record system
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements including closed-toed shoes and natural nails (no acrylic)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in California
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, or amputations
• Familiarity with CERNER electronic health records
• Experience with tracheostomy care, wound care, and restraint protocols
