Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting, including those recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, trauma, and neurological conditions
• Manage a patient population of adults (18+) with complex needs including tracheostomies, wound care, isolation precautions, and restraints within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress accurately using the CERNER electronic health record system
• Deliver intensive, individualized rehabilitation-focused nursing care throughout each patient's recovery journey, with an average length of stay of 12 days
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life

• Active RN license valid in California
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• At least 6 months of experience in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting

• Experience with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputation, and wound care
• Familiarity with CERNER EHR platform
• Experience caring for patients requiring tracheostomy management and isolation protocols

• Work in a state-of-the-art 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital offering all-private patient rooms and a focused, specialized care environment
