Insurance Accounting, Associate

Johnson Service Group is seeking an Insurance Accounting, Associate in Orange County, CA. This is a hybrid position. Monday-Friday 8am- 5:00pm Pay rate: $24.10 per hour Required Skills: 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Tableau Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to juggle multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail Demonstrated integrity and a collaborative team mindset Nice to Have Skills: Experience with insurance products such as vehicle service contracts or GAP insurance Familiarity with Korean Sarbanes-Oxley (KSOX) controls Prior experience in audit support and financial statement preparation Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with industry-specific knowledge advantageous Other Requirements: Willingness to support month-end close, audit, and compliance activities Ability to prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and detailed financial reports Occasional participation in control testing and audit processes JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
