About This Role United Health Services (UHS) is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-acuity, Level II Trauma Center. Highlights Pay: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience Location: Johnson City, NY Facility: Wilson Medical Center Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: Rotating Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates What You’ll Do Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients. Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management. Administer medications safely according to UHS Hospitals policy. Share responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization. Comply with nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies. Participate in and support the Nursing Shared Governance Model. Engage in professional development and complete mandatory education requirements. Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice. Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. Perform duties related to the Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned. Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse License required. CCRN preferred. Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) preferred.
