Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish a positive, trusting rapport with clients through active listening and empathetic engagement, creating a safe space for expression and exploration of emotional and mental health concerns.

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders using evidence-based practices tailored to the individual needs of each client.
\n
• Create personalized treatment plans that incorporate the goals and circumstances of the clients, ensuring plans are dynamic and can be adjusted based on progress and feedback.

• Conduct regular therapy sessions, either individually or in group formats, and utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Family Systems Therapy.

• Perform ongoing assessments of patient progress and adapt treatment approaches as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Refer clients to specialists and additional resources when necessary, expanding their support network.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma-related disorders, and family dynamics. Your role will involve working with both individual clients and families, aiming to foster hope and healing through therapeutic intervention.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Strong communication skills, with an ability to convey empathy and understanding effectively.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methods combined with a creative approach to treatment.

• Basic understanding of the mental health landscape and accessibility to community resources is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
