This facility operates as a Level III trauma center providing orthopedic surgical services across inpatient and emergency department settings. The facility maintains established clinical protocols to support the delivery of quality orthopedic care for all assigned coverage periods. Locum tenens coverage is sought to ensure continuity of orthopedic surgical services.

Colorado offers a range of community events and recreational activities throughout the year. Clinicians on assignment may attend farmers' markets, rodeos, art festivals, and sporting events, as well as bluegrass festivals, art shows, and film screenings available during the summer months. The state provides diverse cultural and outdoor options suited to varied interests.

The orthopedic surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage across inpatient and emergency department settings at a Level III trauma center in Colorado, with coverage running July 24 through July 27. Clinicians must be available on call within 30 minutes in accordance with Colorado state Level III trauma center guidelines. Procedural expectations encompass the full scope of care consistent with a general orthopedic surgeon. Board certification in orthopedic surgery is required for this assignment.
