Growing together.Positions in this function perform advanced Practice Support Assistant duties with a high level of autonomy and competency. Serves as a key member of the medical team, delivering excellent customer service and supporting strong patient-clinician relationships. In addition to core responsibilities, handles administrative tasks, which vary by department.Schedule: Monday (7:30am-4pm), Tuesday (8:30am-5pm), Wednesday (8:30am-5pm), Thursday (9:30am-6pm), Friday (8:30am-5pm). Schedule may be subject to change depending on business need.Location: 36 Shops at 5 Way, Plymouth, MA. May be potential need for coverage at another site, depending on business need.Department: Primary Care (Pediatrics, Internal Medicine & Family Medicine)Primary Responsibilities:Serve as a role model and mentor for support staff; assist with onboarding and trainingManage complex scheduling tasks, including appointment booking and patient outreachEnsure accurate data collection and reporting, handle follow-up activities and referral trackingDeliver exceptional customer service, resolving escalated issues and supporting patient satisfactionOversee waiting room operations, verify patient information, and assist with check-in/check-out processesComplete and process forms, prior authorizations, prescription renewals, and other documentationCollaborate with supervisors on coverage and workflow; lead huddles as neededParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and special projectsWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment.
