Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of clients, focusing on both crisis intervention and long-term strategies.
• Document client interactions and maintain clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as part of effective clinical assessments, collaborating with the clinical team to inform treatment pathways.
• Implement and monitor positive behavior support plans, working with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the center's commitment to high standards of care.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and external service systems, including state agencies and community organizations, to facilitate comprehensive care.
• Foster open communication with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program visibility and support initiatives aimed at improving mental health resources.
• Attend professional development opportunities, including conferences and workshops, to stay current with best practices and trends in mental health counseling.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to team efforts as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with veterans and community members experiencing a range of mental health challenges. This population often includes individuals transitioning from service, as well as those navigating mental health concerns related to trauma, substance use, and daily life stressors. Your role will be critical in promoting their emotional well-being and supporting their journey toward recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in a behavioral health field is required for this role, ensuring a strong foundation in mental health theory and practice.
• A valid LMHC license issued by the state board is crucial for compliance and professional credibility.
• Demonstrated ability to document and maintain clinical records with attention to detail, ensuring records are up to date and comply with regulatory standards.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary team setting, sharing insights and strategies to improve patient outcomes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for expressing ideas clearly and establishing productive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Judgment and decision-making abilities rooted in professional knowledge, crucial for assessing client needs and determining appropriate interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with military populations or in community mental health settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 52,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your experience and commitment to the role. Our benefits package includes:
