Your Daily Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, identify and troubleshoot any discrepancies, and engage in preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document all laboratory processes, assist in training new staff or students, and uphold rigorous lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy and safe work environment while abiding by all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification, and be prepared for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure with us.
