Well financed and stable organization that has new brands coming into the portfolio to expand their offerings and ability to deliver multiple options to their client base. The company has merged with 3 others to form a building materials powerhouse that now can literally be a one stop shop for designers, contractors, commercial and residential customers. The company is continuing to grow through acquisition and is expanding its footprint from coast to coast. Lots of opportunity for growth as they continue to expand. Position Summary Develop and maintain relationships with key Stone fabricators, architects, interior designers, contractors and commercial design firms driving specification and pull through sales Leverage networks in the A&D, fabricator and builder/contractor communities to help advance revenue and reputation in the area by driving specifications and product awareness through them. Present product demonstrations to potential customers to include their features, benefits, and new products that will be beneficial to them. Great opportunity to take new products to a ripe territory for increasing revenue and make an impact by seizing the opportunity this region will provide by introducing their new and established product lines to existing and new clients. Reports to Regional Sales Director and will have all the support needed to be successful in this role Skills/Requirements 3+ years' experience in outside sales in the building materials industry, preferably stone, countertops as well as familiarity with fabrication process Keen understanding of specification, demand creation and pull through sales with stone fabricators as well as contractors, Designers and high-end builders is strongly preferred. Highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and in a team environment with excellent follow-up skills. Excellent communication ability, both verbal and written. High level of integrity and commitment to doing what is right and fair for all involved. Valid driver's license and good driving record.
