Performance Responsibilities Manage the financial affairs of the district. Assist with budget development and long-range financial planning. Oversee financial accounting system (maintain user database, complete month and year end closings). Arrange for audits of all accounts and records annually by an independent, certified public accountant and provide information to the auditors as requested. Make a full and complete itemized report of the finances of the district on an annual basis; prepare the Annual Secretary of the Board Report (ASBR). Post deposits from all sources (Jackson County taxes, State payments, etc.) Oversee payroll database, processing and preparation of payroll reports (tax deposits, retirement reports, insurance reconciliation, etc.) Oversee employee benefits program; conduct open enrollment on annual basis. Reconcile all bank accounts. Process calendar year end reporting. Prepare financial reports as requested. Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Finance Terms of Employment Twelve-month year.
