Associate Director of E-Billing

Locations: Los Angeles, New York City, or Washington, D.C. Compensation: $250,000–$300,000 + bonus + exceptional benefits Schedule: Hybrid A premier global law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Director of E-Billing to lead the strategic direction and transformation of its global e-billing function. This is a newly elevated leadership opportunity designed for someone who wants to operate at both the strategic and operational levels, partnering with executive leadership to modernize revenue operations and shape the future of billing technology. This role goes well beyond managing day-to-day e-billing. You'll establish the firm's long-term e-billing strategy, drive technology initiatives and process improvements, standardize operations across offices, and serve as the firm's senior subject matter expert on e-billing platforms, client requirements, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the firm's long-term e-billing strategy and transformation roadmap. Partner with Revenue Operations leadership to establish policies, governance, KPIs, and best practices. Lead major technology initiatives, automation projects, and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability. Oversee enterprise billing systems, including Elite 3E, eBillingHub, and integrations with leading client billing platforms. Serve as the senior escalation point for complex client billing requirements and high-profile e-billing issues. Partner with Finance, IT, attorneys, and operations leadership to improve workflows, profitability, and client service. Lead training initiatives to ensure firmwide adoption of e-billing policies, systems, and best practices. Support audit readiness, compliance, data integrity, and financial controls. Ideal Background 10+ years of progressive experience in law firm billing, revenue operations, or financial operations. At least 7 years leading e-billing strategy, transformation initiatives, or large-scale operational improvements. Deep knowledge of Elite 3E and enterprise e-billing platforms such as Legal Tracker, Serengeti, CounselLink, Collaborati, Datacert, or Tymetrix360. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and partnering with executive leadership in a large, multi-office organization. Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CPA, PMP, or other advanced credential is a plus.
