Role Overview

The Enterprise Applications Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and overall health of enterprise platforms and services, ensuring secure, reliable performance and a strong user experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, Adobe AEM, and other enterprise tools. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to system ownership and management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring all configurations and settings are optimized for security and performance
• Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to maintain a secure and compliant environment
• Perform Azure administration tasks related to assigning roles, monitoring, app registrations, and security configurations
• Set up SharePoint sites and manage permissions
• Configure OneDrive storage policies and access settings
• Ensure compliance with data retention policies, monitor storage usage, and optimize performance
• Administer Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, with responsibility for environment setup and governance
• Configure Power Platform environments, manage user access, and ensure solutions are secure and compliant
• Manage Microsoft Teams settings, channels, and permissions
• Enforce policies to ensure secure collaboration
• Configure integrations with third-party applications, monitor usage, and optimize performance
• Oversee the administration of Viva Engage, including user engagement strategies and content management
• Create and manage communities, configure engagement metrics, and ensure users have access to relevant content and resources
• Serve as Copilot Administrator, ensuring proper deployment, licensing, access control, and user training
• Manage Microsoft Fabric capacity to ensure appropriate access controls and maintain compliance with governance standards
• Manage user account provisioning for access management, transfers, and compliance with Microsoft agreements
• Maintain and troubleshoot the on-premises Power BI Gateway
• Administer Adobe Experience Manager, including user roles, content deployment, and integration with other platforms
• Respond to and resolve support tickets related to Mitsubishi Power Enterprise Applications
• Troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex problems and escalate when needed
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
• Serve as backup to the Database Administrator

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in enterprise application administration
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Power Platform
• Experience with identity and access management
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems

Computer Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure, and server configuration
• Knowledge of database software, project management software, technical diagrams, and flowcharts

Communication Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to present to stakeholders and C-suite executives
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage the development and performance of team members

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity efficiently
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make judgment decisions based on specifications or technical requirements
