Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

This role is pivotal in addressing and resolving transportation issues, acting as a liaison between the customer service team and transportation providers. You will be the primary contact between the plant, third-party warehouses, and transportation providers, ensuring seamless logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer service, plant warehouses, third-party warehouses, and transportation providers to ensure excellent service and cost-effective performance.

• Ensure carrier coverage of all orders in coordination with transportation providers.

• Manage export shipments, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed by the company and freight forwarder/transportation teams.

• Support freight tendering, order pickup, and execution processes.

• Assist in document creation and customs clearance procedures.

• Track and follow up on supplier non-conformance issues.

• Perform other duties as needed and undertake detailed analysis on multiple projects.

• Provide support and backup to the Logistics Manager as required.

• Adhere to all policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of logistics experience

• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI

• Strong understanding of logistics, freight, and supply chain management

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior logistics and/or supply chain experience

• Experience in implementing changes, such as new logistics service providers or managed services

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Dynamics 365, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI

• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills

Work Environment

The position is based onsite, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The role serves as maternity leave coverage and includes training with the individual going on leave.

This is a Contract position based out of Montvale, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
