Financial Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing global organization to identify a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with a strong accounting foundation and experience supporting international operations. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing complex reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities across multiple global entities. Key Responsibilities Support monthly financial close activities for assigned international entities. Review and reconcile foreign currency-related transactions and balances, ensuring accuracy and completeness of monthly accounting records. Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across multiple global business units. Process and analyze financial information received from international locations and load data into Oracle from various source systems, including QuickBooks and Excel-based reports. Record journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions in accordance with US GAAP. Assist with month-end and quarter-end reporting deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Analyze financial statements and ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions under both cash and accrual accounting methodologies. Support fixed asset accounting activities, including Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE), depreciation, additions, disposals, and reconciliations. Collaborate with accounting and finance teams across multiple global locations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Identify opportunities to improve reporting and reconciliation processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting, financial analysis, or corporate accounting experience. Strong experience performing account reconciliations and month-end close activities. Experience supporting international operations and working with foreign currency accounts. Hands-on experience with intercompany accounting and eliminations. Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation. Strong knowledge of cash versus accrual accounting concepts, including accrual entries and adjustments. Experience accounting for fixed assets and PPE. Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting. Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems such as Oracle is highly preferred.
