Business Development Manager (Multifamily Real Estate) Location: New York City / Hybrid Job Type: Full-time Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 base plus equity, benefits, and commission DaisyChain Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. DaisyChain Energy is reinventing how multifamily and commercial building owners electrify and manage energy across properties. DaisyChain's AI-enabled platform gives property owners real-time visibility and control over energy systems—submetering, solar, storage, EV charging, and heat pumps—enabling them to cut costs, meet energy efficiency targets, and participate in grid services programs. Due to strong sales traction, we're scaling our team to meet demand we are seeing in a multi-billion dollar market. Overview DaisyChain is adding a high-impact Business Development Manager who excels at hunting new business, closing inbound deal, networking, and driving revenue growth. You will be primarily responsible for expanding our multifamily client base, building deep relationships with larger property owners and executing our sales playbook in the field. What You’ll do Sales Execution: Execute the go-to-market strategy for the multifamily sector, actively targeting and a wide range of New York Based multifamily property owners. This includes responding to inbound requests from individual property owerns to prospecting large property owners, REITs, and large-scale property management companies. Revenue Generation: Own the full sales cycle for key accounts, from initial cold outreach and prospecting through to running technical demos, collecting energy usage data, closing deals, and managing client relations. Ensure individual sales and revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded. Pipeline & Relationship Management: Maintain a robust, active pipeline of commercial opportunities. Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the real estate sector through regular outreach, site visits, attending conferences and industry networking. Market Intelligence: Act as a critical bridge between the market and the product team, gathering firsthand customer feedback from the field regarding new features, market needs, and competitive intelligence. Qualifications Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Expertise: 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record specifically targeting the New York commercial real estate or property management industry. Multifamily Network: A strong, established network and a proven track record of successfully selling products or services directly to multifamily customers. Technical Sales Aptitude: Comfortable learning and pitching our energy software platform to executive-level stakeholders (VPs of Asset Management, Operations, Sustainability). Self Starter: Highly motivated self-starter comfortable managing your own daily sales activity, tracking KPIs, and driving deals across the finish line with minimal supervision.
