Business Development Manager | Fire Sprinkler Fire sprinkler subcontractor serving the NY metro area - commercial, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, and healthcare. Known for accurate pricing and reliable execution. Adding a BDM to grow GC relationships and close more work. The role Own the full BD cycle - identify opportunities, attend site walks, work with Estimating, present proposals, follow up through award Build and maintain relationships with GCs, CMs, developers, and owners Manage bid backlog via BuildingConnected (Bid Board Pro); disciplined follow-up on every submission Represent the company at trade events, lunch and learns, and industry organizations Stay current on NYC fire code and NFPA standards What we need 7+ years in fire sprinkler, mechanical, or construction subcontractor BD/sales Proven wins with NY metro GCs - portable contact book strongly preferred Working knowledge of NFPA 13/13R/13D and ability to read construction drawings Comfortable with BuildingConnected; Procore or ACC a plus Valid driver's license; regular travel across the metro area Proposals out within 3 business days or by GC deadline, whichever is sooner At least one face-to-face GC visit per week; one relationship activity per month Two lunch and learns per year; active in one local trade organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Topa Group, Inc.
