Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and business applications so employees can stay productive with minimal disruption. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP to restore service quickly and reduce repeat incidents. Maintain IT asset inventory, allocation records, and lifecycle tracking so equipment usage, accountability, and replacement planning remain accurate. Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, warranty claims, and service requests so external dependencies do not slow down support delivery. Support Microsoft 365 applications and general IT operations so users can work reliably across core collaboration and productivity tools. Assist with user account management and basic IT security practices so access remains controlled and the environment stays operationally safe. Strong computer management and end-user support skills are needed to diagnose common issues, explain solutions clearly, and keep support interactions efficient and professional. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi, is required to isolate connectivity problems and restore access. Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 administration is important for managing day-to-day productivity tools and standard user environments. IT asset management capability is needed to track devices, ownership, allocation status, and lifecycle changes with accuracy and discipline. Vendor management skills are required to coordinate repairs, procurement, warranty claims, and service requests without losing speed or accountability.
