\nLexington Health seeks an experienced and visionary physician leader to serve as the Associate Program Director of our ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program . Associate Program Directors are dedicated clinician-educators who are well supported to serve as instructors, coaches, and mentors to residents.
\nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- Teach, precept, and supervise residents across clinical settings \n
- Provide timely feedback and written evaluations \n
- Assist the program director with leading curriculum development, recruitment, orientation, and program maintenance \n
- Direct faculty development, scholarship, and quality/practice improvement projects \n
- Model professionalism, quality, patient safety, and well-being \n
Our Residency Program:
\n- \n
- Community-based medical education program (13/13/13 resident complement) \n
- Sponsored by Lexington Health and affiliated with the University of South Carolina Floyd School of Medicine \n
- Full-scope family medicine training across inpatient and outpatient settings with residents functioning as primary care physicians \n
- Clinical reasoning, evidence-based medicine, and practical medical informatics emphasized throughout training \n
- Morning report, half-day didactics, journal club, focused simulation, and grand rounds \n
Qualified Candidates:
\n- \n
- Board Certified in Family Medicine \n
- South Carolina license or eligibility \n
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for education \n
- Core faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited program \n
- Additional qualifications/fellowship certifications welcome \n
