Job Title: OR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of two years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center preferred. License: RN License (Client License only) Certifications: Required - BLS (American Heart Association only). Preferred - ACLS. Must-Have: - Ability to scrub and circulate. - Telemetry experience is highly desired. Description: The Operating Room cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, gynecological, ear-nose-throat, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. There are two robotic surgical systems used by multiple specialties. The transplant program includes livers, kidneys, and hearts. Job Duties: Caring for patients in the operating room setting. Working with a diverse team to provide quality surgical care. Maintaining a high level of patient safety and comfort. Assisting with specialty cases, including transplants and reconstructive surgeries. Participating in a rotating shift schedule, which includes on-call and holiday duties as needed.
