Overview Delivers nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends to understand patient conditions, medications, and self‑care skills; noting changing conditions and needs; re‑evaluating care objectives. What you will do Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the nursing care plan to the health care team. Coordinate with other healthcare providers and provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends. Develop nursing care plans based on medical histories, examinations, and documentation. Teach patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self‑care. Evaluate patient care against therapeutic standards and modify the plan as needed. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment following infection‑control policies, medication administration protocols, and substance regulations. Document patient care services in records. Maintain patient care equipment and supplies, troubleshoot breakdowns, and manage preventive maintenance. Maintain competency in nursing capabilities outlined by leadership.
