About the role Seeking a versatile Proposal Manager to lead and support proposal efforts for DOE and NNSA programs. The ideal candidate is a mid-level professional with strong writing, research, and project management skills, comfortable managing cross-team coordination and timelines.This onsite role in Germantown, MD, offers an exciting opportunity to be deeply involved in proposals and contribute to organizational growth beyond just writing. Job Responsibilities Lead and manage proposal development efforts for DOE and NNSA programs. Coordinate inputs and timelines across cross-functional teams to ensure timely proposal submission. Conduct independent research on technical and business topics to support proposal content. Develop clear, compelling, and well-structured proposal content. Support organizational growth by contributing to proposal strategy and operations as needed. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information. Prepare visualizations and presentations to enhance proposal quality. Maintain compliance with DOE and NNSA proposal requirements and guidelines. Strong writing, research, and content development skills. Ability to manage timelines, inputs, and coordinate across multiple teams. Some project management experience. Ability to independently research technical and business topics. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in business, journalism, science, accounting, or a related field. U.S. Citizenship is required. Willingness to work onsite full-time in Germantown, MD. Security clearance (TS or DOE Q) is a plus but not required.
