Family Practice Physician
Primary Care Physician Location: Venice, California Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 3 Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate: $130 - $135/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician for a Medical Center in Venice, California. These positions are a 6-month locum tenens term with the ability to extend.

Qualifications of Family Practice Physician:
- Active CA License required
- 2 years experience of required
- Spanish speaking strongly preferred
- ACLS, BLS required
- Board Certified
Duties/Responsibilities of Family Practice Physician:
- Provide outpatient primary care services to a patient panel of 18 patients per day
- Perform common primary care procedures (biopsies, sutures, etc.)
- Deliver care across all age groups (pediatrics through geriatrics)
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and charting (1 hour of admin time daily)
- Work collaboratively with a full support team (MAs, patient care associates, front office, and practice manager)
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols and quality standards
- Participate in team-based care and contribute to a culture of collaboration and excellence
