Convenient Care – Advanced Practice Provider Rush Copley Medical Center , Aurora, IL Department & Division Join a team of approximately 20 APPs at all locations Staffed solely by APPs Duties & Responsibilities Rush Copley Convenient Care – open 7 days a week (including holidays) from 7:45am-7:30pm. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Applicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is preferred. Position Requirements Nurse Practitioner Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP) CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications Physician Assistant Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care.
