Job Description Job Description Front Office Secretary Salary Range $35k-$36K Job Summary Performs a variety of office secretarial and clerical duties. General Accountabilities Schedules patient appointments, answers general questions, and outsources authorizations and pre-authorizations for patient care services. Has patients complete required paperwork or documentation. Processes insurance forms and maintains logs. Scans and submits appropriate documents to billing department. Inserts laboratory results and incoming faxed into patient charts. Files charts according to established procedures. Reads and prioritizes incoming mail. Provides assistance in the day-to-day needs of the office. Establishes and maintains files and records.
