Registered Nurse - Patient Educator (PRN) Immediate Openings - Bristol, VA

$22.45 - $44.85 per hour

Abbott seeks a registered nurse to provide in-home patient education on PT/INR testing equipment and anticoagulation management. The role is per-diem, based in Bristol, VA, requiring travel to patient homes and remote appointment scheduling.

Responsibilities

Schedule and conduct in-home training appointments with patients and caregivers
Demonstrate proper use, care, and operation of PT/INR testing equipment
Explain test reporting options and documentation responsibilities
Electronically document and submit training records using secure encrypted systems
Maintain professional communication with Acelis Connected Health via phone, email, and internet

Requirements

Current registered nurse license
Clinical experience required
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel minimum 100 miles roundtrip
Computer and smart device proficiency
Own laptop/desktop and printer access
Direct experience with anticoagulation management or homecare preferred
Health education training experience a plus

Compensation: $22.45–$44.85/hour
