Associate Project Manager

Job Summary Associate Project Manager—responsible for managing all phases of the project cycle, executing multiple projects within a Stage‑Gate & Agile methodology to ensure all deliverables are completed and approved by project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Plan, execute, control, and coordinate activities of a project core team to produce deliverables agreed upon with executive and/or functional management. Utilize the PMO's New Product Introduction (NPI) procedures and processes to develop new products and/or services. Work within Stage‑Gate methodology. Manage Scrum and analyze metrics for Agile projects. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams globally to ensure products are launched on time and within budget. Manage project scope, schedule, risks, and cost. Report project status to the PMO and other stakeholders. Manage external, internal, and capital project costs. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field. 2 years of experience in Project Management leading software product development. Experience in the utility, telecommunications or similarly regulated industries is a plus. Understanding of Stage‑Gate & Agile methodology. Preferred Qualifications Excellent understanding of project management scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project). Strong negotiating skills for working with stakeholders. Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%) and internationally. Experience managing remote teams in different time zones. Proven leadership qualities and decision‑making without perfect information. Strong influence skills without direct authority. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening); ability to tailor communications to audience. Strong conflict resolution skills within the project team and across the organization. Excellent organizational abilities for multiple projects. Strong change management skills; respond to setbacks with minimal disruption. Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall & Agile). Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Typical indoor office environment; majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer. Occasional use of other devices such as phone, copier, printer, fax. Typical office setting; required to stand, walk, crouch, or handle objects. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Ability to sit and view computer screen for long periods. Ability to see, hear, and speak in English. Compensation Pay range: $83,500 - $100,600 per year; eligible for 401(k) match and annual bonus consideration.
