Responsible for operational effectiveness in the Breast Imaging area with attention to patient flow, customer service, equipment oversight, and Quality Control guidelines. Collaborates with Radiologists and Clinicians to implement new procedures and processes that ensure seamless operations. Maintains continuing education specific to Breast Imaging, contributes to training and evaluation of staff as a member of self‑directed work teams, and demonstrates knowledge of radiation safety principles. Demonstrates skills and knowledge via competency exams in all Breast Imaging procedures and follows Radiology Imaging protocols and policies. Must work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on‑call, and occasional overtime to meet staffing needs. Demonstrates knowledge of computer systems such as PACS, Digital Mammography, RIS, and HIS. Minimum Qualifications Complete certification training program for Radiologic and Mammographic Technologist. California Radiology Technologist of Mammography (CRT‑M). BART or BLS at time of hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six (6) months. Demonstrated proficiency with PACS, Digital Mammography, and computer use. Preferred Qualifications At least one year experience as a Mammography Technologist. Registered Technologist for Mammography issued by ARRT (R.T(M)(ARRT)). Special Conditions Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on‑call and locations based on 24‑hour Medical Center business needs. Must be able to work flexible hours, including day, evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime for unexpected staffing issues. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical. Pay Annual Full Pay Range: $144,845 – $144,845 (prorated for less than 100% appointment percentage) Hourly Equivalent: $69.37 – $69.37 Policy Requirements Required to comply with the University of California Policy on Vaccination Programs. If applicable, life‑support certifications (BLS, NRP, ACLS, etc.) must include hands‑on practice and in‑person skills assessment; online‑only certification is not acceptable.
