This position ensures that all inventory transactions, including shipping, receiving, and sales orders, are accurately recorded and reconciled within the ERP system. The specialist collaborates closely with production and warehouse teams to align inventory availability with production schedules, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations. By maintaining precise inventory records and utilizing bar code technology, the role supports efficient order fulfillment and timely delivery to customers. Ultimately, the Inventory Control Specialist contributes to optimizing supply chain efficiency and enhancing overall operational productivity in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred. Proven experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, or a related field. Proficiency with ERP systems and bar code scanning technology. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining inventory records. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with production scheduling and sales order processing. Familiarity with advanced inventory management software and reporting tools. Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data and trends. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities: Monitor and manage inventory levels by accurately processing shipping and receiving transactions.
