Financial Operations Specialist

Position: Financial Operations Specialist Accounts Receivable & Reconciliation
Location: Rochester, NY
Job Summary:
Responsible for back-office financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, funding, cash application, and reconciliations. Ensure accurate processing, meet banking deadlines, resolve discrepancies, and maintain audit-ready records.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare funding reports, reconcile accounts, and analyze reserves.

Build and validate Excel/CSV files and process invoices.
-
Execute ACH/wire transactions and generate A/R aging reports.
-
Resolve discrepancies and support Relationship Managers.
-
Maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and improve workflows.
Qualifications:
-
Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
-
Strong Excel skills and experience working with multiple datasets.
-
Knowledge of payroll taxes, AP, AR, or cash posting.
-
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
-
Factoring, payroll processing, or reconciliation experience preferred.
