Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand patients' mental health status, identifying their strengths and challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to meet the needs of the individual.

• Collaborate effectively with a team that includes psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management to empower informed decision-making.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, using modular approaches that support recovery and resilience.

• Create personalized treatment plans in partnership with the treatment team, aligning treatments with patient goals and preferences and regularly updating these plans as needed.

• Guide patients through the complexities of the mental health system, advocating for their rights and assisting with access to necessary resources.

• Lead therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducation workshops, and participate in discharge planning to ensure a seamless transition for patients moving forward.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
