Opportunity:

RN - MedSurg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week assignment
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility to be eligible
• 2 years of nursing experience required with Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work on Medical and Pediatrics unit (travelers do not take pediatric patients)
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
• Treat patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, and infectious diseases
• Subject to low census in hour increments (36 hours of low census unbillable hours available)
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must wear mask at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

The facility operates a Medical and Pediatrics unit that treats a diverse patient population with various medical conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke care, neurological conditions, and infectious disease management. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes EPIC electronic health records system throughout their operations.
