Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to provide transactional support to a busy real estate practice. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who can independently manage transaction details, anticipate deadlines, and work closely with attorneys, clients, title professionals, surveyors, and other parties throughout the transaction process. Please note that Commercial Real Estate experience is required for this opportunity. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive paralegal support for commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, financing matters, and related transactions. Manage and coordinate due diligence activities, ensuring required documentation and information are collected, reviewed, and organized. Review title commitments, surveys, zoning materials, and other property documentation and identify issues requiring attorney attention. Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, clients, and other professionals to investigate and resolve title and survey matters. Assist with preparation and review of title objection notices and related correspondence. Maintain transaction checklists and monitor critical dates, contractual obligations, due diligence requirements, and closing milestones. Prepare and coordinate materials required for real estate closings, including closing binders and other final transaction documentation. Assist with drafting and preparing purchase and sale documents, amendments, deeds, releases, discharges, and other ancillary documents. Prepare and review closing statements and related transaction documentation. Abstract and summarize agreements, contracts, and other documents, highlighting important provisions, deadlines, and obligations. Review and track title insurance commitments, pro forma policies, endorsements, and applicable policy terms. Coordinate the various components of a transaction to help ensure closings are completed accurately and on schedule. Work proactively with attorneys and transaction participants to identify outstanding issues and keep matters moving toward completion. Provide additional paralegal support as needed throughout the lifecycle of commercial real estate matters. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a paralegal supporting commercial real estate transactions . Significant experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and due diligence. Prior experience in a law firm or comparable legal environment strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certification is a plus. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may also be considered.
