Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team on 1st shift. This role is responsible for performing routine laboratory testing, documenting results, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests and quality checks according to established procedures
• Prepare samples, solutions, and testing materials
• Accurately record and document test results in lab systems or logs
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab environment
• Communicate results and findings to supervisors or quality teams
• Assist with troubleshooting testing issues and resolving discrepancies
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate degree or coursework in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related field preferred
• Previous laboratory experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and testing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle lab materials safely
