Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose and develop effective treatment strategies for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or debilitating physical conditions.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and modalities intended to alleviate pain and enhance patient mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress through detailed evaluations and reports, adjusting treatment approaches based on patient responses and feedback.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care and rehabilitation.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding their therapy, condition management, and strategies to enhance recovery.
• Stay updated with the latest practices in physical therapy by attending workshops and engaging in professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Westminster Care, you will serve a diverse patient population that includes children, adults, and elderly clients facing a variety of diagnoses ranging from musculoskeletal injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation. Your expertise will be critical in addressing their individual needs and fostering independence through tailored therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proficient computer and documentation skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying patient needs and treatment environments.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient or rehab setting.
• Experience in rehabilitating patients with a variety of physical conditions.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is a plus, but not required for applicants with solid experience and licensure.

Compensation and Benefits
